FSA Photography

FSA Photography explores the history of the Farm Security Administration (FSA) photographers of the early 20th century and the impact that they made on American culture through the advent of social realism in the field of photography. This presentation includes documentary footage shot in the late 1970s; interviews with Allen Pogue, a student of FSA photographer Russell Lee; and many of the FSA photographs from the AMoA’s permanent collection.
