Nasher Sculpture Center

The Nasher Sculpture Center is one of the few institutions in the world solely devoted to the exhibition, study, and preservation of modern sculpture. Conceived as a serene urban retreat for the enjoyment of modern art, the Sculpture Center is the new home of the renowned Raymond and Patsy Nasher Collection of modern and contemporary sculpture. The collection, which numbers more than three hundred sculptures together with twentieth-century paintings and drawings, is displayed in rotating, thematic installations. The pieces are situated in the Center’s artful blend of indoor-outdoor exhibition spaces, including an elegant, light-filled 55,000 square foot building designed by Renzo Piano and a spacious garden created by Peter Walker.
