Segments from Farm Security Administration Photography Symposium, Amarillo Museum of Art, February 1979
presented by Arlette Klaric

The symposium featured six original photographers who participated in the Farm Security Administration (FSA) program to document American lives during the Great Depression. A complement to the Museum’s collection of more than 120 FSA images by leading documentary photographers of the period, the segments produced are being posted on the museum web site and used to enrich exhibitions from this collection. Student Tours at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art
presented by Sara Klein
The Amon Carter Museum of American Art’s video is designed to help classroom teachers learn more about gallery teacher-led tours at the Amon Carter, the museum experience, ideas to make the visit more meaningful for their groups, and resources from the museum that they can use in the classroom to help prepare students for the tour. Watch the video.
The project leaders from each institution will discuss their experiences working on their projects. It will be a great opportunity to learn from your colleagues, provide feedback about their projects, and get inspired by their work for your museum’s next multimedia project.
